Maxwell Tribune: ....The news of the sad death of Grandma Hilton which occured Monday evening caused universal sorrow among a large circle of friends.

Maxwell Tribune: ....Hannah J. Kilgore was born in Belmont Co., Ohio, Sept. 16, 1818, and died in Maxwell, Feb. 5, 1900. She was married to John Hilton in February, 1837, and to this union nine children were born, six sons and three daughters. The husband and seven children have preceded her.
