DIED: William H. Jones was born in Albion, Herkimer county, March 22nd, 1859, and died at Atlantic, Iowa, December 17, 1899, age 49 years, 8 months, and 22 days. At the age of four years he moved with his parents to Licking county, Ohio, was married to Sophia E. Pipes, September 13, 1874, and then moved to Nevada, Iowa where he has since resided. The fruits of this union are five sons and two daughters all of whom are living with a kind and loving wife to mourn the loss of a true and affectionate father. He was a faithful member of the Christian church and was held in highest esteem by all who knew him and was a member of the K. P. Lodge and Odd Fellows Lodge.
