Ames Times: Miss Harriet Watts received a telegram last Thursday that both her nephew John Watts and neice Mrs. Dora Potts, were dead and would be buried in Jefferson that day, and in company with her neice, Mrs. F. Schleiter went to Jefferson on the first train after receiving word.
