DIED--As his residence in Maxwell Saturday, May 13, Rev. R. A. Ferguson aged 65 years, 9 months and 20 days. His illness was of short duration being only a few moments. He was engaged in making arrangements for going to McCallsburg where he was to preach the following day when he was taken and never spoke to any one and those present had not time to even get him to a lounge or bed. He was a native of Blount county, Tenn. He has been in this county some 14 years a portion of the time living in Nevada, and the last few making headquarters at Maxwell. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss, and the entire community and the points in the county where he has ministered are deeply stirred by his sudden demise. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, the I. O. O. F. and Rebekkas, all of whom turned out to do honor upon the occasion.
