DIED--At his residence in this city on Wednesday morning, Dec. 7th, E. M. Tryon, aged nearly 53 years. He was a native of New York, and remained in the state until his enlistment in the 12th New York cavalry, and after his discharge came west, and settled in Story county where he lived at the time of his death. He was a carpenter by trade and followed it for a livelihood. He leaves a wife who is now dangerously ill, and four children. The funeral services will be held today under the direction of the G. A. R. organization, and remains will be laid away in the Nevada cemetery.
