H. E. Kent who has been seriously ill for several months past died at his home in this city on Tuesday aged about 60 years. He has been a resident of this city for several years and is quite well known to our people. He leaves a wife and children to mourn his loss. The last rites were held and the remains taken to Maroa, Ill., where they were laid to rest until the last call shall be made. The sympathy of all are extended tothe stricken family in this their hour of affliction. He was a good and true man and his loss will be felt in quite an extended circle of friends and acquaintances.
