DIED--On the 14th of October at his residence six miles north of Colo, Patrick Maloney aged 59 years. He was a native of County Claire, Ireland, where he spent his earlier life coming to this country in 1859 and soon after settled upon a farm in this county where he has since resided, standing high with those with whom he came in contact. He leaves a wife to mourn his loss and many friends who trust to meet him in a better land. He was brother-in-law of John Maroney of that locality. The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery in thsi city, the last services being under the direction of Father Nichols.
