Story City Messenger: ....Mrs. P. A. Hermanson died last Thursday after a painful sickness, and was buried last Saturday. She came here with her husband from Denmark in 1871, and has lived in Story county ever since. She was 60 years, two months and twenty-two days old at the time of her death. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother.
