Mrs. John Thomas died at her home in the Mullen settlement yesterday at the advanced age of about eighty-five years. The last rites were held to-day and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that point. She has been a resident of that place for more than a generation and all who have lived there during those long years know her.
