Ames Watchman

Mrs. J. H. Swan who had been seriously ill with diabetes died at her home in north Ames at 12:45 o'clock p. m. Thursday. All members of the family have been summoned by telegram. The body will be taken to Illinois Friday evening for interment.

The sad death of Mrs. Swan given in last week's issue, called here her mother, Mrs. V. Keeler and a brother, John Keller from Galesburg, Ill, her brother, O. R. Keller of Churdan, Iowa, and John Swan from Vinton College. A short funeral service was held at the home Friday evening and the remains were taken to Galva, Ill, for interment. The mother and brothers of the deceased accompanied the remains to the place for interment.
