Our Colo correspondent refers to the serious illness of Roger McCoy of that place but was written too early to give the end of the chapter. Mr. McCoy died at his home in that city Wednesday evening, at quite an advanced age and the funeral took place to-day in the Catholic church at that place, the remains being placed in the Catholic cemetery in this city this afternoon, under the direction of Father Hennessy. Mr. McCoy was a native of Ireland but came to this country at an early age and settled on a farm near Colo more than a generation ago. His age was nearly ninety years. He leaves a wife, who is now ill and a grown up family of boys and girls. Full particulars will be given in these columns next week.
