The funeral of Mrs. Acy Banks, who died here last Saturday, occurred Monday at 10 a. m., Rev. Wm. McCrea of the United Evangelical church of Iowa Center, of which she was a member, conducted the services and a large number of relatives and friends assembled at the home and at the church to pay tribute to a noble christian, wife and mother. The remains were brought to Nevada cemetery and laid away at rest. She leaves a husband, son, daughter, mother and two sisters, besides a large circle of friends to mourn her departure from this life.
