DIED--On Monday last at his home in Cambridge, Iowa, M. D. Livingston, aged about 72 years. He has been a resident of Story County for some 30 years, living on a farm near that place and as a result was well known to all the older citizens and was highly esteemed by them for his many stirling qualities. The funeral was under the direction of the Masons of that place of which body he was an honored member. He was the father of eleven shildren some of whom are resident of the county. His illness was not of long duration but he was ready when the dread messenger came and that is saying a great deal.

Cambridge Dispatch: ....Michael Delaney Livingston was born in Belmont county, Ohio, Feb. 27, 1823, and died in Cambridge, Iowa June 8, 1897, aged 74 years, 3 months and 9 days. When 28 years old he removed to Henry county, Iowa, and thence to Linn county in 1852. Two years later in the fall of '64 on a farm a mile and a half west of Cambridge. Here he resided until 1883, when he came to this town and made his home here until the time of his death....
