Slater News: ....Mrs. Martha* Brown died last Saturday, Oct. 17th at her home north of town, after a short illness. She leaves a husband and nine children.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Martha" is a typo and should be "Martin." Enger Sheldahl was was Mrs. Martin Brown, as she was married to Martin Jonson Brown.
