DIED.--In Nevada township on Wednesday, of cancer of the stomach, Samuel Galbraith. The deceased was born in County Antrim, Ireland, August 16, 1828. He was married to Catherine Hanna July, 1850, and at once came to this country, locating in Lancaster county, Pa. In the spring of 1896 he came to Story County to make his home with a son, James H., and has since resided with him. In his early days he united with the United Presbyterian church and was a faithful follower of his Lord and Master all through life. He leaves a wife and four children, two sons and two daughters, to mourn his loss, two sons preceeding him to the spirit world. The services were held in Summit church Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Wm. M. Force, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
