The funeral of Mrs. Addie Apple Day, wife of George W. Day, took place Tuesday last at the M. E. church of Johnson's Grove. Rev. A. B. Shrader preached the sermon, Rev. John Elliot assisting. The church could not contain the large company of people who came to pay their last tribute of love and respect. Mrs. Day was about thirty years of age. She leaves three small children. She was a probationer in the M. E. church and died in the hope of a glorious resurrection.
