DIED.--At his residence in Grant township on Monday morning. C. R. Beckwith, aged 70 years. Mr. Beckwith was a native of Clinton county, N. Y., and came to the county 23 years ago and has been one of our most valued citizens, and one that will be sadly missed. The funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Evergreen church and the remains were laid at rest there to await the resurrection morn. He leaves a family to mourn his loss and look forward to a reunion beyond that vale from which no traveler ever returns.
