From Story County Watchman June 19, 1896

Collins Clipper: ....Mrs. Axtie Dolph died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The cause of death was blood poisoning, that went to the heart. Her death is a had blow to her husband, Mr. Elmer Dolph, and eleven surviving children, the youngest being a babe of five months.

Collins Liberator: ....Achsah A. Kennedy was born Dec. 25, 1862, and closed this life June 17, 1896, being 44 years, 5 months and 22 days. She was married Dec. 20, 1871, to Elmore Dolph, and from the union there were twelve children, all of who are living but one....
