OBITUARY.--Mr. David Danskin died at his late home in Nevada, Iowa, Apr. 16, 1896. The deceased was born at Newburgh, N. Y., Oct. 19, 1836, being 50 years, 5 months and 28 days old. He came to Story county in 1866 and has been a resident of the county since 1872. The funeral took place on Saturday, April 18, with brief services at the home, and with public services in the M. E. church at Colo, Rev. Horswell preaching the sermon. Revs. Shrader and Elliott conducting the devotional exercises. He was laid to rest with the children who had preceded him, in the Colo cemetery. The bereaved wife and daughters have the deep sympathy of a very large circle of friends.
