The Marshalltown papers of the 11th give the following item which will be of interest in the eastern portion of this county, Mr. Stuntz having lived in New Albany township, and is a son of ex-state representative Stuntz:

Violet Rosetta Stuntz*, wife of Harley L. Stuntz, chief clerk in the auditing department of the Iowa Central, died this morning at 3:30 o'clock, at her home on North Second street, of fever. Mrs. Stultz has been ill for three weeks, but her condition was not considered dangerous.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The true name of the deceased is as listed "Viola Rosella (Sipe) Stuntz." Later in the article her last name is misspelled "Stultz."
