East New Albany.

Mrs. Catharine Beckman, wife of Louis Beckman, died very suddenly at her home last Thursday afternoon from a blood vessel bursting on the brain. Mrs. Beckman was about 44 years of age, a kind and loving mother, and a faithful wife. She leaves a husband and eight children the oldest being married and the youngest but four years of age. The funeral was held in State Center Saturday at the Lutheran church after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. The family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood in this the hour of their sad affliction.
