Word has been received this (Thursday) morning of the death of Mrs. Bryant, mother of H. D. Frynat of Grant township. The deceased was among the early settlers of this county.

Slater News: ....Mrs. Harriette Bryant died at the home of her son in Grant township Wednesday, July 17, 1895. The funeral took place Friday, July 19, from the Enterprise U. B. church, and her remains were laid to rest in the family burial lot at Ames, Iowa.
