The funeral service of Mrs. Stanton was held at the College chapel on Sabbath morning at 10:30 o'clock Mrs. Stanton passed to that better land on Thursday evening. The school session on Friday was abandoned. Many friends from Ames and other places attended the services. Mrs. Stanton is wall known to our people her husband being one of our most prominent professors in the I. A. C. Mrs. S. was highly esteemed by tdose having the privilege of an acquaintance with her. The heartfelt sympathy of the community go to this bereaved family.
