DIED.--Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her residence in Nevada, Mrs. E. B. Patton, aged 68 years, 3 months and 11 days, after a lingering illness. Elizabeth B. Vail, was born Feb. 12, 1827, and was married to Dr. Andrew Patton Dec. 11th, 1894, with whom she lived until his death several years since, in Nevada. Shortly after the close of the war of the rebellion they came to Nevada where she lived up to this time. There were no children to bless them their presence. She leaves a brother at Greenville, Ohio, and relatives at Galva, Ill, St. Louis, Mo., Los Angeles, and Rocklin, Cal. A nephew, Adam Deem, has been with her for some time assisting in caring for her during her last illness, and who makes his home at Galva, Ill. The funeral will be held on Sabbath next at 2 p. m. from her late residence.
