Another old resident of this county has been called and gone to his future abode beyond the skies. J. H. Miller, of Slater, died the first of the week and the funeral was held yesterday at his home. He has long been one of the prominent men in th county and his loss will be a great one to all.

Slater News: ....Mr. J. H. Miller died early last Wednesday morning from pneumonia after about two weeks sickness. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Thursday forenoon by Rev. H. E. Warner in the presence of a very large assemly of people. His remains were taken to Ames for burial....
