Ames Intelligencer: ....It will be sad news to those in this neighborhood who knew Sophia Norton, wife of Rev. Benjamin Bruning and mother of N. B.*, to learn of her death, which occured at the home of her daughter, Mrs. McCollum, at Athens, Penn., on Monday, May 28, '94, at the ripe age of 70 years.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "N. B. Bruning" is Norton Benjamin Brunning of Ontatio, Story County, Iowa.
