From Story County Watchman June 8, 1894

DIED--At her residence in Nevada, on Wednesday morning, Mrs. Peter Dolan, aged 57 years. Mrs. Dolan came to this county with her husband many years ago and settled in New Albany township, where they resided until a few years ago when they came to Nevada since which time they have made this their home. Mrs. Dolan had been sick for several months but it was not thought the end was so near only for a short time before the end. She leaves a husband and a grown up family to mourn the loss of faithful wife and loving mother, and they will look forward to a meeting the future when partings shall be no more. The funeral will be held to-day at the Catholic Church, of which she was a consistent member, under the directions of Father McNamara.

Last week we gave the account of the death of Mrs. Peter Dolan and that the funeral would take place Friday. The funeral was very largely attended many coming from their old home in New Albany township to show their respect for the worth of the lady. The services were by Rev. McNamara of the Catholic Church of which she was a devoted and consistent member.
