Ames Intelligencer: .... Mrs. Parley Sheldon was called to Mechanicsville on Saturday night by word of the very serious illness of her mother, Mrs. Judd. On Tuesday the folks received new of her death and Mr. Sheldon went down to attend the funeral which took place yesterday....
