Cambridge Press: David Nellis was born in Lewis county, New York, December 8th, 1854, the son of Levi and Polly Nellis. The family moved to Iowa when he was about five years of age, and has resided in Cambridge ever since. David's demise occured on Monday, January 23, 1894, of heart trouble, he having passed away while working at the woodpile....
