Eldora Foster, wife of Milton L. Dudley, was born June 24, 1857, at Ontario, Ia. In her 16th year she was converted and became a member of the Christian church. In later years she placed her membership in the Methodist Episcopal church with that of her husband. Her marriage occurred October 15, 1876. Mrs. Dudley was a sufferer for the last several years of her life. Frail from a severe illness in childhood, her strength yielded to repeated and painful sickness, till she became a confirmed invalid. From the spring of 1891 she was was confined to a bed of suffering. On January 23, near the dawn of day, in the vision of gloy she endeavored to describe, she passed into her rest. Her body was laid away yesterday in the cemetery at Ontario.--Des Moines Leader.
