DIED--Capt. J. L. Williams, of this city died at Mt. Pleasant this week where he has been an inmate of the asylum for some months. He was 53 years of age and a native of Ohio, and came to this county several years ago. The funeral was held here yesterday, Rev. Danner preaching the sermon after which the remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery to await the last call. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss, and to look forward to a meeting in the future where there will be no more parting.
