Mrs. R. R. Thompson died at her residence in Maxwell, Thursday morning Aug. 11th, after an illness of about three weeks. She had been ailing for a year or more, suffering with catarrh of the stomach Until within a week of her death she still had firm hopes of her recovery, though her husband and physicians gave up all hopes long before. Mrs. Thompson's maiden name was Mary Glass. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Glass, and was born in Blair county, Penn. 1840.
