OBITUARY--Mrs. Malinda Broadbent died at her home near Ontario Sunday morning last, and her funeral services were conducted by the Christian Church by Rev. Thompson from Boone, and her remains were interred in the Ontario Cemetery Monday forenoon. Malinda Johnson was born Aug. 14th, 1837, in Fayette county, Pa., and was married to Wm. Broadbent in the spring of 1869. She emigrated to Story county, Iowa, in Oct. 1872. After a lingering illness of two years she departed this life in peace on the morning of March 6th, 1892. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn the loss with whom they have relatives and many friends to join in their heart felt sympathy.
