The Ames Watchman

Casper Gunder, aged about 80 years, died Saturday last by drowning, a supposed case of suicide. he went into Skunk river when the water was about knee deep, and deliberately laid down. When found life was extinct. The Coroner's Inquest gave it as a case of suicide. He made all arrangements beforehand by dividing his property and it appears to have been a deliberate case.
