The Ames Watchman

Sunday occurred the funeral of Thos. M. Gossard, of Grant township, who died Friday before. His age was 47 years and he had lived in that township for many years. The services were under the auspices of the G. A. R. Post at Ames of which he was a member, who turned out for the occassion in full force with many comrades from toher places. The funeral was one of the largest held in this section showing the esteem in which he was held by his neighbors and friends.
