A. A. McFarland died recently in Georgia, and the remains were brought to Gilbert for interment. The obsequies were attended by the Boone Lodge of Mason and quite a number of the local Mason. A special train from Boone brought in the Lodge and number of the railroad men orders, who attended the last rites.

Boone Rep.: A. A. McFarlan, who was well known in Boone, died at Atlanta, Ga., Friday from an attack of typhoid fever. His brother Neal left Tuesday of last week for Atlanta to care for him and bring him home, but before he reached him death stepped in. The body was Expected to reach Gilbert Station Monday, from which place interment was made. A special train left Boone yesterday at 11 a. m., conveying Masons and Railway Conductors to the funeral, which was conducted with masonic honors.
