From Story County Watchman May 31, 1889

Little Lottie Wier only child of W. H. and Mary Wier died at the home of her parents in this city Tuesday night after a lingering illness of about three weeks with the mumps and scarlet fever. The parents have sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
