From Story County Watchman April 26, 1889

B. Broughard, Sr. announces the arrival of twins at his home Monday. One of them lived only a short time, but the other* promises to live long. Only a few weeks ago this paper announced the arrival of twins to B. Broughard, Jr.**, and now this one comes making it one of the things that will seem as a query to many.

*The "other" twin is Earl Hubert Brouhard born April 21, 1889.

** B. Broughard, Jr. refers to Barnet and Martha (Laird) Brouhard who had twins, Ola Jane Brouhard and Ora James Brouhard born March 21, 1889.
