Eliza Brown wife of John Brown departed this life Monday morning March 4th. She was an old resident of this place a universally like by all. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and will be sadly missed from the circle of friends in which she moved. The writer has known her for a quarter of a century and had got yet to hear the first unkind word spoken about her. It might truly be said of her--none named her but to praise--She leaved a husband and six children all grown to man and womanhood.
