From Story County Watchman February 15, 1889

DIED.--Richard, son of James S. and Jessie M. Smith, of Zearing, Iowa, died February 5th 1889, aged 4 months and 24 days.

On Dec. 29th their little daughter Colleen, died. Just one month after that (Jan. 29) Mr. Smith's brother*, whose obituary appeared last week, passed away.

This triple loss to our neighbor and brother makes his cup of sorrow about full, but the hope of the gospel sustains him. The grief-stricken ones have the sympathy of all their friends and acquaintances.
