From Story County Watchman December 21, 1888

Mrs. Porch, mother* of Mrs. Cal Giddings, died on Sunday morning after a very brief illness. The burial services were held on Tuesday.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. Porch was Calvin Gidding's mother-in-law, mother of Anna E. Porch Giddings.
