On Monday the remains of Mrs. Mullen, of Des Moines, were brought to this place and laid to rest in the cemetery at Mullins Settlement. She died at her home there on Friday last and leaves a family. She was the daughter of W. Halley of this place and the sister of Mrs. E. Fults, of this city. She formerly resided here and is well known to all the old residents who will mourn her leaving them in this vale.
