OBITUARY.--On Monday evening, April 2nd, George West, oldest son of Mrs. Chas West died of Pneumonia aged 17 years. It is very sad to have so worthy and promising a young man called away, as he was his widowed mother's only hope dependence. He was kind and good to all. But we must submit to the will of God who doeth all things for the best.

Gone, gone, loved one,
Gone to the blest;
Earth has it's pleasures,
But twas not thy rest.
