Miss Eva, daughter of Wm. Gaugh, died at his home on Friday, the 9th inst., aged 20 years. He was a young lady of much promise and the bereaved parents have the sympathy of all. By request we return their thanks to those who so kindly assisted them in the last sad rites as well as those who attended her last illness. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, but in the absence of the Pastor, Rev. R. A. Ferguson, the funeral was preached by Rev. A. T. Jeffrey to a large congregation on Sabbath, 11th, after which the remains were interred in the Mullen Cemetery.
