OBITUARY.--William H. Fultz was born in Pickaway county, Ohio, May 17, 1818. Died at his residence in Story county, Iowa, August 10th 1887, aged 69 years two months and 23 days.
Brother Fultz was converted to God when but a youth, and united with the Methodist Protestant church, in which connection he remained until he settled in Iowa, 23 years ago, when he united witht he Evangelical church. Brother Fultz was a very worthy member and an earnest, faithful, christian worker.
Brother Fultz leaves a wife and six children to mourn his departure, a wife and four children having gone before him to the spirit land.
The community in which he lived as welll as the church of which he has been a member for 23 years sustains a great loss in the death. But we are consoled with the thought that what is our loss is his eternal gain.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. A. Walton, assisted by Revs. Ferguson and Hummelbaugh, in the presence of a large and sorrowing concourse of people. His remains were laid to rest in the Summit, Bethel Cemetery, August 12th, 1887.
