The Ames Watchman

J. C. Elliott, died on Saturday last, aged about 60 years. He was one of the old settlers of the county, in 1854, and has been a resident of Ames for 17 years. As such he was well known and esteemed. The funeral was held at the Baptist church and was quite large.
