Joshua Harrison, of Grant township, died on Sunday last. He was one of the veteran soldiers and a member of the G. A. R. post at Nevada. The remains were buried yesterday at Ames.

IN MEMORIAM.--At a regular session of Jason D. Ferguson Post, No. 31, G. A. R., held on Oct. 5th, 1886, the undersigned were appointed a special committee on resolutions on report of the death of Comrade Joshua Harrison.
WHEREAS.--It has pleased the Supreme Commander to order from this earthly camp our Comrade Joshua Harrison, and
WHEREAS.--The post has lost a faithful member, tried and true, and the community an upright and worthy citizen, therefore
RESOLVED.--That we hereby extend to the bereaved wife, children and friends of our dead comrade our heartfelt sorrow and most kindly sympathy.
RESOLVED.--That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the records, presented to the family of the deceased and for publication to the Nevada WATCHMAN and Representative and to the Ames Intelligencer.
