DIED.--At the residence of his son in this village, Mr. O. B. Ingalls, Mr. H. W. Ingalls, aged 78 years.

He was a native of Brookfield, Mass., and came to this place about five years ago since which time he has made his home with his son. For the past three years he has been feeble, but has been able to be around the most of the time until within the past three months. Funeral exercises were held on Saturday, after which the remains were taken to Morrison, Ill., for interment, being laid beside his wife, whom he joins in the land where there is no more parting. During his residence here he has secured the esteem of all with whom he has become acquainted, and was known as a true gentleman and one whose society was sought after. To the stricken relatives it has been expected for some time, and they can confidently look forward to the time when they all may meet on that farther shore where there shall be no more parting. Mr. O. B. Ingalls accompanyied the remains to their last resting place.
