One of the oldest settlers of Story county died at his residence in Cambridge, J. H. B. Kerr. He lived for years in Palestine township, and recently moved into Cambridge. He has held quite a number of local offices, and was a citizen with whom no one could find fault, and his demise will be regretted by all. He was quite aged and had been ailing for years.
