DIED.--On Thursday night, the 8th inst., at her residence in Indian Creek township, Mrs. Margaret, wife of Thomas Monahan, aged about 65 years. She was among those that settled in the county at an early day and bore shares of the hardships of a pioneer life. She is highly spoken of by her neighbors as an exemplary christian woman, and one whose walk through life was just and true. The funeral was held at the Catholic church on Sabbath last. The congregation was one of the largest ever held in the county, thus showing the appreciation in which she was held by her neighbors.
